Legendary coach John Wooden took the helm of a struggling UCLA Bruins basketball program in 1948. By the end of the season, they were conference champions. By the time of his retirement in 1975, the man they called “Coach” led his teams to a record-breaking 10 national championships in just 12 years, establishing a legacy as one of the greatest mentors and coaches of all time.
Coach Wooden was the very first person inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame twice, ESPN named him “Coach of the 20th Century,” and President George W. Bush awarded Coach Wooden the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
But Coach Wooden’s accomplishments were not limited to the court.
He brought an entire community together, inspired them with championships, and taught them how to master the fundamental skills that turn any dream into reality. The gyms he coached in become chapels, the court a pulpit where he preached his framework of success.
It was Coach Wooden who introduced the world to the Pyramid of Success—a roadmap for individual and team excellence—the same roadmap he used to build a legacy unmatched in the game of basketball.
Now, in proud partnership with over 30 of Coach’s former players, his peers, and the Wooden family, we’re excited to invite you to discover Coach Wooden’s Framework of Success.
